This scenic trail connects the South Riverside Trail at Waterloo Road in Cedar Falls with the Sergeant Road Trail along Sergeant Road/US 63, just north of Shaulis Road in Waterloo. Along the way, it winds over gently rolling hills and passes a mix of suburban neighborhoods, shopping areas, light industrial districts, and the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex. As the route continues, it leads into the Katoski Greenbelt, where the setting shifts to a peaceful, tree-lined corridor following Black Hawk Creek.
This trail is also a key segment of the Cedar Prairie Loop.
