Part of what makes this trail work so well is Cedar Falls’ strong cycling culture. Downtown bike racks fill up fast, patios are a common post-ride stop, and at Second State Brewing, bicycles are even part of the decor. Around here, bikes and brews just go together.
How the Beer Trail Passport Works
The Cedar Falls Beer Trail connects local breweries and taprooms and encourages visitors to explore the community’s 130-plus miles of trails.
Get a passport
Pick up a passport at any participating brewery or taproom, or download and print your own copy.
Collect stamps
Each time you visit a stop on the trail, ask your server or bartender to stamp your passport when you purchase a craft beer. If you choose a soda or another non-alcoholic drink, participating locations can stamp your passport for that too.
Redeem your passport
Once you collect five stamps, you can redeem your passport for a 9-ounce Muir Mug with Carabiner Handle as a keepsake from your ride.

SingleSpeed Brewing pours small-batch, creative beers in the heart of historic downtown Cedar Falls. It’s a good stop for adventurous beer drinkers, and the shareable plates make it easy to settle in for a while.

Second State Brewing focuses on malt-forward beers, including stouts, lagers, ales, and IPAs. On Friday and Saturday evenings, the rotating Concept Kitchen CF menu adds globally inspired dishes made with local ingredients.
Mulligan’s Brick Oven Grill & Pub
